College of Fine Arts alumnus Jonathan Freeman is the voice of the evil vizier Jafar in Disney’s 1992 Academy Award-winning animated feature Aladdin, and has been seen for the last six seasons recreating his celebrated role on Broadway at The New Amsterdam Theatre.
The College of Fine Arts invites you to “go backstage" and meet Jonathan who will answer your questions about his role of Jafar as well as his other roles including Admiral Boom in MARY POPPINS, Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID, and Cogsworth in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Join our host, School of Theater’s Sana Selemon, BFA ’17 (Acting), and our Emcee, Professor of Performance Shelley Delany, a long-time friend and colleague to Jonathan, as we visit Broadway through Jonathan’s eyes - virtually!
Have a question for Jonathan? Register to join the event today where you can submit your question for consideration when the curtain goes up on Monday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. EST!
If you have any questions, please email Kelee Riesbeck at email@example.com.
