The Importance of Representation in Children's Literature and Education

Ohio University alumni who are also children's book authors will discuss the importance of representation in children's literature as well as how to self-publish. The participating authors are Brittany Eaton, '06; Ashley Ferguson, '06; and Jasmine Robinson, '17.  The authors will share research and facts about representation in children's books, and they will describe why they wrote their books. 

Jason Rawls, Ph.D., associate professor of instruction in the Patton College of Education, will be joining us to share information about the Brothers RISE (Rallying to Inspire and Shape Education) initiative at Ohio University.
